The Wadis Process

Here’s how our technology works. First, infected water is pumped through the electrical discharge (ED) reactor. A pulse generator device continuously charges at low power and discharges intermittent high-power pulses between submerged electrodes within the reactor and into the flowing water. As a result, strong shock wave-high light radiation is created, including UV, high magnetic and electric fields, molecule ionization and polarization, cavitation and very high temperatures at the discharge canal. Finally, treated water emerges.

EPDP – Sludge Treatment

EPDP creates complete hydrolysis and disinfection via high electrical shock in the sludge:

  • Shortens digestion time
  • Increased bio gas productions
  • Decreases dry sludge evacuation
  • Turns Class B to Class A (optional)

EPDAP – Wastewater Disinfection

EPDAP uses a high voltage electrical pulse discharge combined with air bubble flow to disinfect wastewater for reuse:

  • Not sensitive to wastewater turbidity (as opposed to UV)
  • Achieves high log bacteria reduction
  • Highly effects all types of microorganisms
  • No DBPs (Disinfection By-Products)

EPOP – Micropollutant Reduction and Disinfection

EPOP uses a high voltage electrical pulse, which is discharged with a gas carrier at hundreds to thousands of Hertz, to create plasma, form hydroxyl radicals (OH*) and other strong oxidants:

  • Reduces micropollutants
  • Disinfects treated water
  • No DBPs
